Founded in 1978 in Berlin by Michael Haas, Galerie Haas expanded to Zurich in 2003. Since 2021, the gallery has been under the leadership of Anna Helwing, after years under the direction of Erika Schlessinger-Költzsch. Committed to post-war production and contemporary art, the gallery is dedicated to innovation and knowledge. The Zurich gallery has held exhibitions by artists such as Otto Dix, Francis Picabia, Joan Snyder and Thomas Schütte. In June 2024, Galerie Haas Zürich will present Louise Nevelson, a pioneer in site-specific and installation art.
