Established in Buenos Aires, Isla Flotante began its work as a space for the development of artists by mixing studios and exhibition venues. Over the years, the gallery has become a focal point of the city's art scene due to its commitment in exhibiting the creations of young and promising artists. 

In this sense, the essence of the project remains intact, since the artists represented by the gallery promote an avant garde spirit and a commitment to key contemporary themes, such as self-criticism of the art world and its strategies of legitimization, power and circulation, and issues of gender and identity.
