Isla Flotante

Isla Flotante began as a hybrid studio and exhibition space, becoming a meeting point for the Buenos Aires art scene. Over the years, the gallery has established itself as a reference space for young artists, participating in international fairs.

In 2018, the gallery moved to La Paternal, hoping to establish a new art circuit in the city. In parallel, it joined the Meridiano group, with the aim of strengthening the art sector and promoting cultural policies in Argentina.

In keeping with its young, avant-garde spirit, the gallery represents twelve artists, focusing on works that address issues such as the self-criticism of the art world, legitimization strategies, power and circulation, as well as issues on gender and identity.
