Central is a gallery which celebrates creativity, tolerance and diversity. Since 2016 under the direction of Fernanda Resstom, the gallery has been presenting a program that aims to overflow itself, from the exhibition space to its surroundings - whether through exhibitions, talks, publications or special projects.

Having occupied the basement of the IABsp (Institute of Architects of Brazil) since 2018, Central represents artists whose poetics orbit the universe of architecture and explore the relationship between subject and urban landscape from a decolonial perspective. The gallery aims to be a platform of national and international projection for the flourishing and recognition of its artists' careers.
