Cavalo is a contemporary art gallery located in Rio's Botafogo neighborhood. Established in January 2016 by partners Ana Elisa Cohen and Felipe R Pena, the gallery presents a vibrant program of exhibitions, both by represented artists and by artists who have never exhibited in the city before. The space promotes discussions, meetings with artists and curators, performances and video screenings.

The gallery is based on its commitment to the local cultural scene and to discussing art on a global level. As an example of this vision, the gallery has twice won awards for best presentation at renowned international art fairs (2016 in the NewEntries section of Artissima; 2018 in the Opening section of ARCOmadrid). In 2021, the espaço CAMA (São Paulo) was inaugurated in collaboration with partner galleries from Brazil and Portugal.
