Founded as Galeria Fortes Vilaça in 2001, Fortes D’Aloia & Gabriel has established itself as one of the world’s leading contemporary art galleries, maintaining a dynamic program of approximately 15 exhibitions a year in its spaces in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, as well as a strong presence at the main art fairs. Márcia Fortes, Alessandra D’Aloia and Alexandre Gabriel are celebrating more than two decades of activity with a team of 44 artists, 31 of whom are Brazilian.

The gallery is dedicated to nurturing lasting relationships with its represented artists, encouraging emerging voices, cultivating established careers and relevant expressions, as well as fostering relationships with museums and curators around the world. Committed to forging innovative models, Fortes D’Aloia & Gabriel also invests in collaborations with other galleries and institutions in independent and hybrid projects.
