Having one of the most important collections in the country, Galeria Estação, inaugurated at the end of 2004, has made its reputation for revealing and promoting the production of non-erudite Brazilian art. The gallery has been responsible for including such language in the contemporary art scene by editing publications and holding both solo and group exhibitions in and outside the country.

The space seeks to offer a historical and current overview of a production that has gone beyond the limits of popular art, while at the same time it investigates artists who, regardless of their background, work with elements from this same source.
