Under the direction of Ricardo Kimaid Jr, Galeria Movimento presents itself as a space designed to share the creative process of both emerging and established artists. The collection was created from the intersection of different generations, with a focus on the quality of languages and the diversity of new aesthetic perspectives and technical investigations.
Founded in 2007, it holds regular exhibitions with the aim of introducing new critical thoughts on contemporary production, with the careful support of curators. In 2021, it moved into a beautiful 112-year-old mansion in the famous Baixo Gávea, in Rio de Janeiro, traditionally.
