Opened in May 2014, Galeria Superfície develops a select program of exhibitions, in parallel with the development of the careers of contemporary artists and avant-garde artists whose production centers around the 1970s. Directed by Gustavo Nóbrega, the gallery not only develops commercial work, including artists in important collections, but also maintains close relationships with institutions and museums.

Among its activities is the gallery’s dedication to the production of publications aimed at disseminating historical avant-garde groups, as well as mid-career artists. Its collection also includes works by renowned artists such as Mira Schendel, Leonilson, Wlademir Dias-Pino, among others.
