Founded in 2021, Lima Galeria’s aim is to accompany and exhibit the work of artists from Maranhão, Piauí and Pará, and to work in conjunction with various agents to foster the cultural scene and the contemporary art system in these regions, encouraging flows and dialogues with other parts of Brazil and the world.

Through a plural program, the gallery has a multiplicity of voices at its core, and an interest in conceptual and procedural practices that unfold between the singularity of subjective expressions and the connection with ecological, social and political issues.
