Founded in August 2021, Marli Matsumoto Arte Contemporânea is located in Vila Madalena, a neighborhood in São Paulo, in a modernist house from the 70s. Created during the pandemic, the gallery institutionalizes the domestic space for the presentation of artworks and aims to be a place for dialogue between national and international productions.

The gallery works mainly with young Brazilian artists, and operates on the secondary market with important works by renowned artists from the 1960s onwards, with whom the director has worked throughout her career.
